Where is the Tot Trot?
Gadsden Park located at 6901 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, FL 33611.
When is the Tot Trot?
Saturday, November 3rd, 2018. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 3K starts at 9:30 a.m. sharp!
When do we have to register?
The last day to be guaranteed a shirt is October 14th. The last day to pre-register online is November 2nd at 6 p.m. You will also be able to register the day of, pick up your race packets and race shirts at the Tot Trot event. Please arrive early and expect long lines.
**Please be aware the registration prices differ on the day of the event.
Where are fundraising tips and ideas?
When you register, you will receive your own fundraising page. You can use the page as is or add your own photos and personal message. Then, email your contacts a link to your site and watch the dollars start coming in! It’s fun and simple to do. High Risk Hope also emails you a Fundraising Guide! This guide will be filled with great fundraising tips, ideas, samples, and instructions on how to make the most of your Tot Trot fundraising.
How much does it cost to participate in the Tot Trot?
Adults (13 and up): $25/$30 at Tot Trot
Children (5-12): $15/$20 at Tot Trot
Children (0-4): Free or $10 with t-shirt
Hospital and Virtual: $30, shipping included
HRH Baby Cape is available for purchase for $15
How is the money used?
The net proceeds received from the Tot Trot help fund High Risk Hope’s mission to provide support, encouragement, information and resources to women and families who are experiencing a high risk pregnancy resulting in hospital bed rest, potential premature birth and neonatal intensive care after delivery.
How long is the route?
The entire route is 3K (1.81 miles) but there will be an opportunity for tired Tot Trotters to sneak off at the half-way point.
Are strollers, wheelchairs, bikes and wagons allowed?
Yes! We would also love to see your wheels decorated! If your method of transportation involves wheels, your child must wear the proper safety equipment required by law. Only young children may bike or trike, no bikes for adults please.
What if it rains?
The Tot Trot will be held rain or shine. In the event it rains, we hope you will bear the weather and still plan to join us to bring awareness to this important epidemic. If the weather calls for rain, here are a few important reminders:
– Bring rain gear for you and your child (rain coats, hats, umbrellas, boots for puddle jumping)
– Bring a change of clothes for your child. If he/she registered you can change into your dry Tot Trot shirt.
When do I pick up my Tot Trot packet?
Packet pick-up is Friday, November 2nd at South Tampa Kids Dental Krewe from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for anyone who has pre-registered. 3514 W Bay to Bay Blvd #2 Tampa, FL 33629
How do I know if I am registered?
If you registered online and completed payment, you should have received a confirmation email. If you believe an error has occurred or would like to check your registration status, please email email@example.com.
Will there be refreshments?
Yes there will be plenty of FREE food and beverages from Jersey Mike’s Subs and Caspers Company/McDonalds!
When should I plan to arrive to the Tot Trot?
Check-in is from 8:30 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. on race day so you should plan to arrive early to ensure you have enough time to check-in and make it to the start line by 9:15 a.m. To avoid long lines, you may pre-register online and pick up your race materials at Packet Pickup. Online registration closes November 2nd, 2018 at 6 p.m.
Where do I park?
There is sufficient free parking located throughout Gadsden Park. There will be signs and parking attendants directing parking. Parking surrounding the dog park will be CLOSED during the event.
Can I bring my dog?
No, please leave all furry children at home. Since there will be so many young children and strollers, only service animals are allowed at this event. Unfortunately, any family with a dog will not be allowed to participant in the walk or activities.
What does ‘Hospital & Virtual’ registration mean?
If you live far away or have a baby still in the hospital, you can Trot virtually and be a big part of the Tot Trot and help raise funds to benefit High Risk Hope. November is prematurity awareness month across the globe and your family can help spread the word and win the #fightforpreemies! We will ship you your race information and Tot Trot shirt straight to your door.
