Where is the Tot Trot?
Gadsden Park located at 6901 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, FL 33611.
When is the Tot Trot?
Saturday November 11, 2017. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the 3K starts at 9:30 a.m. sharp!
When do we have to register?
The sooner the better! The sooner you get started with your recruitment efforts and fundraising activities, the more success you will have.
Where are fundraising tips and ideas?
When you register, we will receive your own efundraising page. This page will be filled with great fundraising tips, ideas, samples and instructions on how to customize your personal efundraising page. You can use the page as is or add your own photos and personal message. Then, email your contacts a link to your site and watch the dollars start coming in! It’s fun and simple to do.
How much does it cost to participate in the Tot Trot?
Adults (13 and up): $25/$30 Day of
Children (5-12): $15/$20 Day-of
Children (0-4): Free or $15 with t-shirt
How is the money used?
The net proceeds received from the Tot Trot help fund High Risk Hope’s mission to provide support, encouragement, information and resources to women and families who are experiencing a high risk pregnancy resulting in hospital bed rest, potential premature birth and neonatal intensive care after delivery.
How long is the route?
The entire route is 3K (1.81 miles) but there will be an opportunity for tired Tot Trotters to sneak off at the half-way point.
Are strollers, wheelchairs, bikes and wagons allowed?
Yes! We would also love to see your wheels decorated! If your method of transportation involves wheels, your child must wear the proper safety equipment required by law. Only young children may bike or trike, no bikes for adults please.
What if it rains?
The Tot Trot will be held rain or shine. In the event it rains, we hope you will bear the weather and still plan to join us to bring awareness to this important epidemic. If the weather calls for rain, here are a few important reminders:
– Bring rain gear for you and your child (rain coats, hats, umbrellas, boots for puddle jumping)
– Bring a change of clothes for your child. If he/she registered you can change into your dry Tot Trot shirt.
When do I pick up my Tot Trot packet?
Packet pick-up location and time is still to be determined.
How do I know if I am registered?
If you registered online and completed payment, you should have received a confirmation email. If you registered and sent your check by mail, you will receive a confirmation email from High Risk Hope for your registration.
Will there be refreshments?
Yes there will be plenty of FREE food and beverages from PDQ and Caspers Company/McDonalds!
When should I plan to arrive to the Tot Trot?
Check-in is from 8:30 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. on race day so you should plan to arrive early to ensure you have enough time to check-in and make it to the start line by 9:15 a.m.
Where do I park?
There is sufficient free parking located throughout Gadsden Park. There will be signs and parking attendants directing parking.
Can I bring my dog?
No, please leave all furry children at home. Since there will be so many young children and strollers, only service animals are allowed at this event. Unfortunately, any family with a dog will not be allowed to participant in the walk or activities.
